About LouAnne Giangreco, MD
Dr. Giangreco is board-certified in Emergency Medicine, serves as a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and has practiced emergency medicine, urgent care medicine, and occupational medicine throughout Upstate New York. She is also the former System Chief Medical Officer of Cayuga Health System where she developed key medical strategies as well as performance optimization for the health system.
In addition, she has served in leadership roles within a number of organizations, including Chief Medical Officer for Five Star Urgent Care and as VP and Chief Medical Officer of Health Care Improvement for Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield. In both roles, she had clinical oversight of the development and implementation of plan-wide programs and was also the medical director for case and disease management.
Dr. Giangreco completed a residency program in Emergency Medicine from Upstate Medical University. She earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College.
